About M15 in Lancaster
M15 - Anniversary of the War
It
has been five years since the war in Iraq began. Since that time,
nearly 4,000 United States soldiers and hundreds of thousands of
Iraqis have been killed. This has prompted hundreds of soldiers to
join Iraq Veterans Against the War, and openly denounce the US war on
terror. Soldiers are deserting the military at an ever increasing
rate. Meanwhile, over 60 percent of the American civilian population
is opposed to the continuation of the war in Iraq.
On March 15, 2008, in down
town Lancaster, there will be a procession, town hall meeting, and
silent vigil to demand an end to the five year occupation of Iraq.
With your help, hundreds, and possibly thousands of people will come
together to march for an end to the war.
Please stand with us for
peace, and lend your support, whether it be through participation or
donation. Pass this message on to your friends, family, neighbors,
co-workers and members of your church and volunteer organizations. Ask
them to join with us to show our opposition to the current war, and
our support for a more peaceful world.
In peace,
John Schreck
